About Breast Cancer

Research

Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer diagnosed among Canadian women. Statistics show that one in nine Canadian women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime.

We must have in place, programs which will work collaboratively with cancer control stakeholders to articulate and establish effective prevention, palliative care and control planning for the country.

We will expel every effort to transform the quality and enjoyment of life through raising awareness about the disease and encouraging those living with breast cancer to live full and active lives.

We hesitate to give you specific information about current breast cancer research, but are happy to forward you to several well respected breast cancer sites in our health links section.
