Personal Achievements

We are proud of all of our team members, including the following personal achievements:

Colleen Cross
Nominated for Kelowna Woman of the Year 2005 (Civic Awards). Personally raised $100,000 at an Eddy Merckx dinner with proceeds shared between the Cancer Centres in Kelowna and Vancouver. Raised $10,050 by raffling a signed Lance Armstrong jersey, proceeds to Kelowna Cancer Centre. Raised $8,000 on another raffle with proceeds to the Kelowna Cancer Centre for equipment.

Judy Dyer: Ascent on Kilimanjaro
In 2007, Judy climbed with the CIBC Wood Gundy Climb for the Cure with all funds raised supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. She personally raised $23,117. All told, her Kilimanjaro team raised $540,405.

Jamie Fretz-Stone
Completed the West Coast Trail in 6 days with 60 pounds of equipment on her back.

Dianna Rawson
Attending the Weekend to End Breast Cancer in Vancouver for the second time.

Sue Drexl
Volunteers for the Peachland Triathlon each year and paddles alongside a swimmer for the Rattlesnake Island swim. Sue has canoed the Bowron Lake circuit and Nation Lakes and has hiked the Milford Track and Abel Tasman Tracks in New Zealand.

Wendy Kelly
Completed a marathon last year.

Angie Sonntag (pictured at right)
Represented the Pacific Northwest region at the world speech finals in Dallas, having won the regional competition in Alaska. Member of the Kelowna Toastmistress Club.
